Layups from Saratoga Race Course
A 90-minute van ride south of Saratoga, Green Meadow Farm is one of the closest full-care layup and rehab farms to the Saratoga meet. NYRA owners and trainers send horses to us between starts, between meets, and for post-race recovery.
We're in Pine Plains, NY — straight down the Taconic Parkway from Saratoga Springs. Most shipments arrive next-day from the Oklahoma backside. We coordinate directly with your van service and trainer.
Horses from Saratoga typically come in for 30 to 120-day layups: dedicated rehab paddocks, twice-daily stall checks, cold saltwater spa, equine pool, and written progress reports weekly with photos. We ship back to Saratoga, Belmont, or wherever the next start is.
